Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Summer Jazz Academy Big Bands, featuring exemplary high school jazz musicians from around the nation, unveil two weeks of dedicated work under the instruction of Jazz at Lincoln Center Managing & Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis and other leading jazz faculty, followed by a special performance by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. Summer Jazz Academy is Jazz at Lincoln Center’s, two week residential high school summer institute for advanced study in jazz performance.

The 2015 Rappahannock Farm Tour and Festival features many local farm and business venues located throughout the county. To add to the fun, there is an Artisans’ Market centrally located in Washington, VA.  Our  farm tour is a self-guided FREE event, visit as many venues as you can, or just swing by a few- it’s up to you! A comprehensive tour guidebook, including descriptions of all the venues and a map, will be available on-line prior to the event with hard copies distributed at venues.
